crcMichael J. Babcock, MD, FAAD | Investigator and Medical Director

Michael Babcock received his M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he graduated first in his class with a 4.0 GPA and was inducted into the AOA Medical Honor Society. Dr.Babcock completed his dermatology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he presented cases on infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders at the annual meetings of theTexas Medical Society and American Academy of Dermatology. His journal publications include an article on a chronic granulomatous fungal disease called Madura foot which was published in Archives of Dermatology and a cosmetic laser case which was published in the Journal of Drugs and Dermatology. He has authored two chapters in dermatology for The Color Atlas of Family Medicinetextbook. In 2009, Dr. Babcock was appointed a case report reviewer for theJournal of Drugs and Dermatology. Prior to being appointed Medical Director for the Colorado Research Center, Dr Babcock has served as an investigator for the Colorado branch of Thomas J. Stephens & Associates,Inc. In additional to his Medical Director position, Dr. Babcock is a partner at the Colorado Springs Dermatology Clinic, which is the 2nd largest dermatology private practice group in Colorado.
